Oxford House, An Urban Oasis In Sydney

Oxford House is a new boutique hotel in Sydney that opened in November 2022. The design-centric 4-star hotel is located in Paddington, a stylish suburb next to the CBD (central business district) that is widely known for its high-end boutiques, art galleries, and culinary experience. It sits discreetly inside a beige building, but behind the facade is one of the best urban oasis you can find in the city.

As you walk inside, you will find milky ceramic tiles alongside ample greeneries, which sets the tone for overall design. The modern hotel is heavily inspired by a breezy coastal resort aesthetic. Throughout the interior, you will discover different light colour palettes and wooden touches being used. Partnering with local gallery China Heights, different artwork are being displayed across the rooms and communal areas.

The Rooms

Oxford House currently offers 56 beautifully-appointed guest rooms and suites. Echoing the overall design, you will find a sleek white and wooden theme inside the room with abundant natural light shining through the large windows.

Each room are equipped meticulous furnishing, bespoke bedding, a glazed ceramic bathroom, Grown Alchemist toiletries, custom DOUBLE RAINBOUU bathrobes & slippers, a smart TV, a Nespresso coffee machine, and free internet access. There is also a family room for four that is perfect for families or groups.

Amenities & Dining

The highlight of Oxford House is none other than its gorgeous outdoor pool, located at the center of hotel. The pool is open from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Next the pool are ample greeneries and lounge chairs, which perfect for unwinding, reading, or enjoying a drink. There is also a vibrant pool bar that serves an array of chilled beverages and refreshing light dishes.

Oxford House also has a spectacular in-house restaurant. Located on the ground floor, OH Restaurant is a lively all-day restaurant with a modern Australian menu curated from organic local produce.
