Opened in 2018, The Calile Hotel has quickly become one of the best boutique hotels in Brisbane, Australia. Located in the lively suburb of Fortitude Valley, the 5-star hotel is housed inside an 8-story tall white brick and concrete building.
The Design
Designed by local architect studio Richards and Spence, the building is heavily inspired by the resort aesthetic of Miami, Palm Springs, and Mexico City. You will easily find resembling features such as its arched windows, curved balconies, and central pool podium.
The interior is predominantly styled with a pale and soft colour palette, which presents a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The space is being further elevated by the incorporation of different materials including marble, concrete, and wood.
The Rooms
You will find a similar aesthetic inside the hotel’s 175 guest rooms and suites, all styled with a soothing pale pink, blue, or green tone. Just like the communal areas, they feature a variety of materials including wood, cork, brass, ceramic, and concrete. This significantly improves the texture and character of the room.
Inside the room, you will find bespoke furnishing, soft cork flooring, plush bedding, Grown Alchemist toiletries, a TV, a Nespresso machine, and complimentary internet access. Some rooms are also equipped with a private terrace balcony and a luxurious bathtub.
